HVAC Project Manager

$160,000 base + Car Allowance + Super | Sydney, NSW | Permanent Full-Time

About the Opportunity

Our client is a respected HVAC mechanical contractor with a strong reputation for delivering quality commercial and industrial projects across Sydney. They are growing their project management team and are looking for an experienced HVAC Project Manager to take ownership of projects from $2M to $15M. This is a hands-on role with real autonomy. You will manage your own projects, your own team and your own client relationships.

If you are a PM who has come through the tools or through engineering and wants to be trusted to run projects your way, this is the role for you.

What You Will Be Doing

• Managing HVAC mechanical projects from contract handover through to final account
• Overseeing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
• Managing project budgets, programmes and procurement
• Attending regular site visits and client meetings
• Administering contracts, managing variations and EOTs
• Reporting on project progress, financials and risks to senior management

What You Will Bring

• 5–10 years of experience in HVAC mechanical project delivery
• Experience managing projects valued at $2M–$15M
• Strong understanding of mechanical services including HVAC, chilled water and BMS
• Solid commercial skills with the ability to manage a budget and administer variations
• Relevant trade background (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning) or engineering qualification preferred
• Based in Sydney or willing to relocate
