Our story

Recruitment works best when it feels like a partnership.

We listen first, move fast and never compromise on compliance or candidate care.

Lily Waller and Chris Tipper at The Partnership Group

The Partnership Group began with a simple belief: the person who takes the brief should be the person who owns the outcome. Across their careers as recruiters and business leaders, our Directors have recruited extensively across healthcare, construction, trades and facilities management. That experience shapes how we brief roles, assess risk, approach passive candidates and represent opportunities in the market.

The model is one firm with a specialist team for each market. Chris leads TPG Construction and TPG Engineering, which covers building services, mechanical and HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire, data centres and safety. Lily leads TPG Nursing. Both Directors work every brief between them, and either can run a brief in any of the three markets. Neither of us hands a serious brief to someone who has never worked the market.

We back every permanent hire with a 12 month replacement guarantee on our standard terms, and we are available around the clock for the shifts and site starts that cannot wait.

What we hold ourselves to

  • Partnership. We would much rather build something long term than do one transaction and move on.
  • Pace. Commitments are concrete and time anchored. We start mapping the market the day the signed terms come back.
  • Precision. The right person for the setting, not the right title on paper.
  • Care. Candidates remember how they were treated. So do their colleagues.
