MEP engineering, led by Chris Tipper
MEP engineering recruitment. Mechanical, electrical and plumbing, from design to delivery.

MEP is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing services that make a building work, and on commercial, health and data centre builds it is where a wrong hire shows up fastest. We recruit MEP engineers on both sides of the work: the design team that produces the services and the delivery team that builds, commissions and hands them over. Chris Tipper runs this desk personally.
Design and delivery need different people. A design engineer who has only worked consultancy side can struggle on a contractor project, and a strong delivery engineer may not want to spend the week in Revit. Chris screens for which side of the work someone has actually done, which services, the project types and the tools, not the job title alone.
Most of the MEP briefs we work are contractor side, for mechanical, electrical and hydraulic services contractors delivering commercial, health, data centre and industrial projects.

Every person we put forward is checked against the role and the site before you see a name, and the checks do not stop at the start date. Tickets, licences and inductions are held against each person with their expiry dates, so a renewal is flagged before the shift rather than discovered on site. Onboarding, e-signatures, inductions, rostering and timesheets run through the one system, and the records are there when the auditor asks.
- White Card sighted, expiry date recorded
- High risk work licences and plant tickets, held with their expiry dates so a renewal is flagged before it lapses
- Verification of competency for the plant and tasks on your site
- Right to work and ID verified before anyone is presented
- Project and site inductions completed before day one
- SWMS and WHS acknowledgements signed digitally and kept on record
- Two referees on every candidate
