Senior HVAC Technician

$55.00 per hour + Overtime + Vehicle + Tools + Super | Sydney, NSW | Permanent Full-Time

About the Opportunity

Our client is a well-regarded HVAC mechanical services contractor operating across Sydney's commercial, retail and industrial sectors. They are looking for a Senior HVAC Technician to join their service team, someone who knows their way around a wide range of HVAC equipment, takes pride in their work and can be trusted to represent the business on site without supervision.

This is a permanent, full-time role with a strong hourly rate, a company vehicle, all tools provided and genuine overtime opportunities. If you are a licensed technician who wants to be valued for your skills and paid accordingly, we want to hear from you.

What You Will Be Doing

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of commercial HVAC equipment including split systems, VRV/VRF, chilled water systems, AHUs, FCUs and cooling towers
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently and safely
• Completing preventative maintenance schedules across a portfolio of commercial sites
• Responding to breakdown callouts and emergency service requests
• Completing service reports, job cards and compliance documentation
• Liaising with building managers, facilities teams and clients on site
• Mentoring and supporting apprentices and junior technicians

What You Will Bring

• Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (essential)
• Refrigerant Handling Licence / ARC Licence (essential)
• 5+ years of experience servicing commercial HVAC systems
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across a range of equipment types
• Current driver's licence
• White Card (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, client-facing manner
