Site Manager — HVAC Mechanical

$180,000 base + Car Allowance + Super | Sydney, NSW | Permanent Full-Time

About the Opportunity

Our client is a well-established HVAC mechanical contractor delivering commercial and industrial projects across the Sydney metro area. They are looking for an experienced HVAC Site Manager to take charge of on-site delivery, managing trades, coordinating subcontractors, driving programme and making sure every project comes off the way it was planned.

This is a role for someone who takes pride in running a tight site. You know how to read a programme, manage a team and solve problems before they become issues.

What You Will Be Doing

• Managing day-to-day site operations for HVAC mechanical projects
• Coordinating mechanical trades, subcontractors and suppliers on site
• Monitoring programme, quality and safety performance
• Liaising with the project manager, head contractor and client representatives
• Conducting toolbox talks, site inductions and WHS compliance activities
• Reviewing and approving SWMS, ITPs and site documentation
• Reporting daily progress and flagging risks to the project team

What You Will Bring

• 5+ years of experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Supervisor in HVAC mechanical services
• Trade background in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (Cert III minimum, Cert IV preferred)
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems including chilled water, AHUs, ducting and BMS
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple trades on a live commercial site
• Current White Card and relevant high-risk work licences
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
